WYANDANCH - A Wyandanch grandmother is accused of driving drunk with two kids in her car and a missing tire.

Mary Kimbrough, 64, was arraigned today on a charge of aggravated DWI, a felony under Leandra's Law.

Police say they pulled over Kimbrough last month on Commack Road in Commack. Kimbrough's tire was missing and her grandchildren were crying and calling for help on a cell phone, according to police.

Police say Kimbrough has two prior DWI convictions.

Kimbrough was released on bail, and her attorney says she has checked herself into a rehab facility. The judge also issued an order of protection mandating that she has no contact with her grandchildren. She is due back in court in October.
