GLEN HEAD - Residents in Glen Head and Glenwood Landing met with police tonight to discuss what is being done about a yearlong string of home break-ins.

Since February of last year, police say there have been 21 home burglaries in the area.

Residents voiced their frustration with police over the fact that no suspects have yet been apprehended in the cases.

Cops say they think it is the work of the same suspect or suspects. In some cases, the burglars have been walking through the front door.

Authorities ask residents to use common sense in protecting their home by ensuring doors and windows are locked and reporting suspicious activities.
