GLEN COVE - A Glen Cove family is pleading for help in tracking down a loved one who has been missing for two weeks.

Nunzio Izzo, 56, was last seen on Dec. 17 as he got into a cab on Madeline Place in Glen Cove. Relatives say they're especially worried for him because he takes daily medication for epilepsy and suffers from a heart condition, although he is mentally in good health.

Family members say it's not like Izzo to be gone more than a few days, or to travel far from his Glen Cove home, where he lives with his mother.

Distraught relatives are hanging up missing person posters in Glen Cove and surrounding communities, in the hopes that someone comes forward with a tip.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Glen Cove Police Department at 516-676-1002.
