WOODBURY - ? Gas rationing has ended in New Jersey, but officials have decided to keep the system going in New York City and Nassau and Suffolk counties. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says odd-even gas rationing needs to be synchronized across the area. Cuomo says any changes must be done systemwide so drivers do not clog up stations again by going to another county to buy their gas. Some Long Island gas stations still don't have power. However, AAA says about 80 percent of stations in the city and on Long Island are open for business.
