A gas leak forced the evacuation of Farmingdale High School this morning. The leak was reported just before 7:30 a.m. at the school on Lincoln

FARMINGDALE - A gas leak forced the evacuation of Farmingdale High School this morning.

The leak was reported just before 7:30 a.m. at the school on Lincoln Street.

There is no word on what caused the leak.

School officials told News 12 that students in the building were able to exit safely.

The fire department gave the all clear to go back inside.
