A Mastic man is accused of driving drunk and killing his grandfather. The crash happened around 5 p.m. yesterday on Sunrise Highway near Route 112

EAST PATCHOGUE - A Mastic man is accused of driving drunk and killing his grandfather.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. yesterday on Sunrise Highway near Route 112 in East Patchogue.

Cops say Gary Hendricks was drunk when he rear-ended a truck and overturned.

Hendricks' grandfather Isaac Beal was killed and one passenger was left in critical condition.

Hendricks and a woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The 45-year-old is now facing DWI charges.
