BOHEMIA - Police are investigating a deadly crash that left a man dead last night in Suffolk County.

Investigators say Gary Abrams, 54, was killed after he was struck by a tractor-trailer on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia. The East Patchogue resident was hit at around 10 p.m.

Abrams was walking in the middle lane of Sunrise Highway, but police say they don't know what he was doing in the road at the time.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the SCPD Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
