LLOYD HARBOR - An 87-year-old man is out on bail after he was accused of luring children with candy while touching himself.

Police say Galip Gulmez tried to lure two children, ages 4 and 6, to his car at the West Neck Beach in Lloyd Harbor a few weeks ago.

News 12 is told their baby sitter stepped in before the children got close to the car and she saw his pants were pulled down.

Police say Gulmez also tried luring children on Fiddler's Green Drive in Lloyd Harbor.
