WESTBURY - A funeral Mass was held today for the Westbury teen killed in a car accident earlier this week.

Police say Frankie Posillico, 17, was driving his new BMW with two passengers when he sped through a stop sign and slammed into another car on Tuesday.

Posillico was in the Westbury Fire Department?s explorer program for nearly five years. Westbury Fire Chief Patrick Cody says the teen was eager to join the ranks of the department this summer after he graduated high school.

The two 16-year-old boys who were in Posillico's car at the time of the crash were seriously injured and are still in the hospital.
