Fundraiser to be held for motorcyclist killed in Riverhead

RIVERHEAD - The Riverhead community is coming together after a dad was killed on his motorcycle. 

As News 12 first reported, David DeCarle was thrown from his motorcycle after apparently hitting a large pothole on Reeves Avenue. 

DeCarle leaves behind a baby boy and a wife. 

DeCarle belonged to the Road Reapers Motorcycle Club. 

The club is holding a fundraiser in Riverhead at 8 p.m. on Friday.
