SMITHTOWN - A musical tribute and fundraiser were held in Smithtown this evening for the Trinca family, which lost a mother and young son in a car accident last month. Keri Trinca and her 7-year-old son, Jason Jr., were killed on County Road 111 in Manorville when a van struck their sedan. Two other Trinca children were in the car at the time. Family members say a son, Christopher Trinca, is doing well while a daughter, Mariaelena, is still recovering in the hospital. Relatives say it helps to know the tragedy touched so many lives.Vigil held for 2 surviving children in Manorville crashMom, son killed in Manorville car crash laid to restPolice: 2 dead, 2 critical in Manorville crash
