WOODBURY - A Hicksville High School graduate is being mourned this weekend after he was found dead while vacationing in India.

Officials say 20-year-old Anmol Sarna was found dead on a street in Delhi on Friday with a severe head wound. Officials tell Indian news agencies that a group was arguing about something that night, and just a half an hour after arriving at a friend's apartment, Amnol was beaten with a beer bottle or an iron rod. He died hours later in the hospital.

Published reports out of India suggest that heavy drug use was a factor for all of the men involved in the incident, including Sarna. However, friends and family in Hicksville say that doesn't sound like the man they knew.

Sarna's friends and family say they are not seeking blood. They just wanted justice to be served.

Nadiya, Sarna's sister, told News 12 that all of the men involved in the incident are in police custody. However, she says none of them have been formally arrested.

An autopsy is currently being performed.
