FREEPORT - Fifth-graders at Caroline Atkinson Intermediate School in Freeport got a special science lesson today thanks to the Bio Bus.

The Bio Bus is divided into two educational sections: in the front of the bus the students learn about the structure of animal cells, and in the back, they learn about how those cells are similar to human cells.

The Bio Bus was once a part of the San Francisco Transit System, but now operates in the Metropolitan area teaching schools about tiny animals and organisms that are part of their world.
