FREEPORT - ? A Freeport man accused of trying to cash in on counterfeit money is facing a judge today.

Police say Samuel Robinson tried to use phony $100 bills to buy a money gram at a Lawrence tobacco shop last month. According to police, Robinson handed the fake bills to a cashier. The cashier became suspicious and called 911. Robinson left the store, but was arrested yesterday.
