Former supervisor Linda Kabot attempts election run after being acquitted of DWI charges

Kabot is running again as a Republican and now she's also a write-in for the Conservative Party primary next month.

SOUTHAMPTON - Former Southampton Supervisor Linda Kabot is trying to get her job back.

Kabot lost the election in 2009 following a drunken driving arrest in Westhampton Beach.

Kabot was acquitted and then launched a write-in campaign for supervisor in 2011.

Kabot is running again as a Republican and now she's also a write-in for the Conservative Party primary next month.
