Fireworks shows to light up LI skies for Fourth of July

EISENHOWER PARK - Nassau County officials announced today that this Fourth of July weekend, Long Islanders will be treated to world-class fireworks shows in several locations. Grucci Fireworks will put on the biggest display on the Island tomorrow night at Eisenhower Park's Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater. The fireworks show is free, but guests will need tickets to get in. The tickets can be obtained at any TD Bank branch on Long Island. Besides the Eisenhower Park show, Long Islanders will be able to watch brilliant displays in other spots, including a show at Westhampton Beach on Sunday and at the Brookhaven Amphitheatre in Farmingville on Monday. Spectators are also invited to celebrate Independence Day by watching fireworks on the water on the Great South Bay in Bay Shore. Jones Beach will not be hosting a fireworks display this year.
