Firefighters saved a Lloyd Harbor home this morning after an attached garage was destroyed by flames. The incident happened at a home on West Neck

LLOYD HARBOR -  

Firefighters saved a Lloyd Harbor home this morning after an attached garage was destroyed by flames.

The incident happened at a home on West Neck Road around 6 a.m.

Officials say about 40 firefighters dispatched to the home and got the fire under control before the house was damaged.

A couple and their young child escaped the blaze and were not hurt.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how that fire started.
