Fire damages 3 East Meadow stores

EAST MEADOW - Officials say a fire has damaged three stores across from Nassau University Medical Center.
The fire chief tells News 12 Long Island that the blaze broke out around 10:30 p.m. last night at Spice and Curry Restaurant on Hempstead Turnpike.
Officials say the fire than spread to Lewis' Wines and Spirits and Wall Street Gold.
Officials say two firefighters have minor injuries.
The stores were not open when the fire broke out.
