WOODBURY - More federal aid is on the way to Long Island, according to government officials.

Officials said that millions in federal funds will be coming to New York in the next few months.

The funds will be used to repair damaged roads, bridges, and other infrastructure, according to Newsday.

Gov. Cuomo announced an additional $1 billion has been allocated for the MTA to repair damage to the subway and bus systems, as well as the Long Island Rail Road.
