SETAUKET - As a way to kick off this February Fun series, News 12 Long Island’s Erin Colton was in Setauket at CrossFit Stony Brook.
A good way to keep your heart healthy is by having a good workout routine. CrossFit training seems to be sweeping Long Island, as more and more gyms offer the program. It combines a wide variety of functional movements to a timed workout. Each workout is different, which experts say, helps produce positive results.
At CrossFit Stony Brook, members work with trainers on their own fitness program. Some of the workouts include kettle bells, box jumps, push-ups and much, much more.
