VALLEY STREAM - Police are searching for the suspects involved in a Valley Stream home invasion. 

The incident happened yesterday afternoon at a home on Cumberland Place. 

Police say the robbers busted in when the homeowner answered the door. One of the suspects was allegedly carrying a gun.

The robbers then took cash and jewelry, and handcuffed the homeowner and his 21-year-old daughter to the basement oil tank. The suspects then fled.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS
