Family, friends hold vigil for Westbury crash victim

WESTBURY - Family and friends gathered for a vigil tonight as they try and come to terms with the death of a 17-year-old who crashed his car in Westbury last night.

Police say Frankie Posillico was driving his new BMW when he sped through a stop sign and smashed into another car at the intersection near Clarke High School.

Posillico?s two passengers survived the crash with serious injuries and one is currently in a coma.

Posillico was a junior firefighter at the Westbury Fire Department, where the private vigil and grief counseling session was held.

Hundreds of Clarke High School students also walked to the scene of the accident this afternoon to mourn their classmate's death.
