Family: Body found may be of missing BK mom
HEMPSTEAD - Police are investigating the possibility that the body found partially dismembered in Bay Shore is a missing Brooklyn mom.
The husband of Chinelle Latoya Browne, 27, tells News 12 he last spoke with her on Saturday when she was having an issue with her landlord.
Browne’s husband, who lives in Guyana, claims the landlady told him Tuesday that the two had a physical altercation.
Her husband, Dale Browne, also tells News 12 that detectives told him that they strongly believe the body discovered in Bay Shore is his wife, but they are waiting on DNA confirmation.
Yesterday, a Hempstead man found a severed arm on his front lawn around 2 p.m. at a home on Webb Avenue. Police have since found a second arm at Stewart Avenue and Cornell Street in Hempstead, but won't confirm if the arms came from the same body.
Officials will not say if these incidents are linked to their investigation involving the partially dismembered female body that was found in Bay Shore on Tuesday. Police did say that they were looking for missing body parts in that case.
Browne moved to New York from Guyana about a year ago. She has four young children and two sisters who live in Queens.
