MASSAPEQUA - An off-duty special agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives killed trying to subdue a pharmacy robbery suspect in Seaford was honored today. The Town of Oyster Bay dedicated a roadway triangle in memory of Agent John Capano, who was shot and killed in Seaford on New Year's Eve. A flag and monument stand in honor of the fallen agent at the corner of Biltmore and Frankel boulevards in his hometown of Massapequa. His wife, children, fellow ATF agents and officials attended this morning's ceremony. Friends say today was a fitting tribute to the family man who put himself in harm's way to help others.
