QUOGUE - A former jail attendant at the Quogue Village jail says she was sexually harassed on the job - by a police officer.

Charlotte Lander, 62, a jail attendant for the past 10 years for the Village of Quogue Police Department, plans to sue the village for a sexually explicit letter left at her home, allegedly by a co-worker.

Lander says the incident happened Memorial Day weekend of last year. She has filed a complaint of age and sex discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
