MINEOLA - Jurors on Long Island have found former Nassau County Legislator Roger Corbin guilty of receiving a bribe and official misconduct. Newsday reports Tuesday's partial verdict in the corruption trial of three public officials also found Neville Mullings, the former head of North Hempstead Town's Community Development Agency, guilty of official misconduct. Former Nassau Legislator Patrick Williams was found not guilty of two counts of grand larceny. The three were accused in a scheme to steer a redevelopment project in New Cassel to a developer in exchange for $400,000 in bribes and other payments. Deliberations on the remaining charges, which include grand larceny and conspiracy, will continue tomorrow.
