WOODBURY - ? Officials say the Nassau County crime lab is under a microscope again after problems surfaced with crime evidence.

Officials revealed that evidence from one drug case somehow vanished.

In February, Nassau County shut down its lab due to mistakes made in testing evidence.

According to Newsday, marijuana involved in a Nassau drug case disappeared from a FedEx truck while being shipped to Pennsylvania.

The New York State inspector general has now reportedly told Nassau to stop using couriers to transport evidence and start doing the job itself.
