GREAT NECK - ? Officials say the EPA will get a six-figure settlement for cleaning up a Superfund site in Nassau County. For many years, the agency was trying to recoup the $7.5 million it spent to clean up the old Stanton Cleaners site on Cutter Mill Road in Great Neck.

The EPA had to treat and remove soil that was contaminated by hazardous chemicals at the site.

The settlement gives the United States government just over $750,000, but it could get $2 million more when the site is sold.
