Police say Enrique Matute got into a crash with another vehicle on Shrubland Road in Southampton yesterday morning.

SOUTHAMPTON - A Brooklyn man is accused of driving drunk with a child in a car.

Police say Enrique Matute got into a crash with another vehicle on Shrubland Road in Southampton yesterday morning. They say the 47-year-old was drunk.

According to police, Matute had eight people in his van, including a 10-year-old.

Matute is facing felony DWI charges under Leandra's Law.

Police say he has two previous DWI convictions in the last 10 years.
