BRENTWOOD - An emergency meeting was held in Brentwood after 18-year-old Andrew Jones was shot to death in his own backyard last night.
Residents called the meeting not only after Jones' murder, but because of a string of shootings during the past month.
Those attending the meeting called for a greater police presence, especially during the later hours.
Suffolk County Police Department's deputy inspector was in attendance and said he would take ideas from the meeting and present them to his bosses.
