Elmont teen, Andrew Schreier, accused of impersonating an officer

ELMONT - An Elmont teen has been arrested and is accused of impersonating a police officer during an alleged road rage incident.

Cops say 19-year-old Andrew Schreier pulled up along another car on Elmont Road yesterday afternoon. Schreier allegedly told the two people inside that car he was a cop and showed a badge and what appeared to be a handgun.

Officials say the victims called 911 and followed him to a dead end near a home.

When police arrived at the scene, they say Schreier had ecstasy in a glass bottle and fake police IDs in his car.

According to officials, the gun turned out to be a black airsoft pistol.

Schreier is facing numerous charges, including impersonating an officer.
