SHIRLEY - The sky is the limit for a handful of teen aviators at Eastern Suffolk BOCES in Shirley.

Teens in the Suffolk Aviation Academy are trained to become pilots. All students go through one-on-one training with Mid-Island Air Service.

The course costs as much as $13,000, which is paid for by the students’ school district.
