East End restaurant reopens after car crashes through entrance

Police say a 70-year-old Fort Salonga man lost control of his SUV in the parking lot at Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow around 7 p.m.

According to police, the man hit a parked car, then crashed into the north entrance of the restaurant.

BAITING HOLLOW - A popular East End restaurant reopens this morning hours after a car crashed through the entrance. 

Police say a 70-year-old Fort Salonga man lost control of his SUV in the parking lot at Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow around 7 p.m. last night. 

According to police, the man hit a parked car, then crashed into the north entrance of the restaurant. 

Police say the man hit a tree and a lamp post. 

 No one was hurt and no charges have been filed.
