EAST PATCHOGUE - An East Patchogue man is recovering this morning after collapsing during the New York City Marathon.
Richard Waldman, 55, collapsed at the 22-mile mark in Harlem.
Walman reportedly suffers from chronic low blood pressure. Walman is expected to be OK.
Meanwhile, history was made at yesterday's marathon.
Geoffrey Mutai of Kenya finished the race in two hours and five minutes.
The time is two minutes faster than previous records set 10 years ago.
News 12 Long Island's own Rich Hoffman and Pat Dolan also ran the marathon.
