WOODBURY - Three Duke lacrosse players falsely accused of rape can go ahead and file a civil lawsuit.

The players are suing the former North Carolina prosecutor, Mike Nifong, and police who handled their case.

A federal judge in North Carolina ruled the players can pursue claims of malicious prosecution and concealment of evidence.
