DEER PARK - Police say a woman has been arrested after she struck three teenagers with her SUV in Deer Park last night.
Investigators say Cathleen Wild, 28, of Lindenhurst, was allegedly under the influence of drugs when her GMC Jimmy hit the three teens on Grand Boulevard just before midnight.
Police say Paulino Harrington, 16, of Deer Park, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center and was listed in serious but stable condition.
Thomas Pirrone, 16, and Gabrielle Ferraro, 16, both of Deer Park, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and are expected to recover.
Officials say Wild has been charged with driving under the influence and criminal posession of a hypodermic needle.
Other teens who witnessed the accident told their parents that the woman seemed more concerned with damage to her vehicle than the victims who were strewn in the road.
