BRENTWOOD - A Brentwood mother was arrested after allegedly helping her teenage daughter fight another teen and then jumping into the fight herself.

Police say Dorka Lopez, 41, pulled her 15-year-old daughter out of school Thursday and drove her to Regis Park to fight another girl. Police say Lopez also got involved in the fight, pushing the victim's head to the ground. The entire fight was captured on cellphone video.

Lopez's attorney Lawrence Carra says the whole incident was a misunderstanding. Carra claims Lopez drove her daughter to the park in an attempt to resolve a dispute between the two girls.

Lopez is free on $3,000 bail. She is due back in court next Friday.
