PATCHOGUE - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made an appearance at a fundraiser Thursday evening in Patchogue.
More than 1,000 Trump supporters packed the Emporium theater to watch his address at the fundraiser for the Suffolk Republican Committee.
He delivered his classic lines, tailoring them to the Suffolk County crowd. Trump vowed to bring back American jobs lost to foreign countries and spoke of defeating the Islamic State group and eliminating the controversial Common Core exams.
Thursday's event was Trump's second campaign stop on Long Island -- the first being at Grumman Studios in Bethpage on April 6.
New York state's primary elections will be held Tuesday, April 19.
