An emaciated dog that was near death was rescued on Saturday, and now animal workers are attempting to nurse it back to health. Queen, a 10- or 11-year-old mastiff, was found by the estranged wife of her owner in a Coram apartment. Officials say that it appeared that the dog hadn't eaten in about three weeks.
