Diquan Booker accused of starting fire at Lynbrook hotel

Police say Diquan Booker started a fire last month at the Holiday Inn Express in Lynbrook.

LYNBROOK - A Roosevelt man is under arrest after police say he started a fire in a Nassau County hotel room.

Police say Diquan Booker started a fire last month at the Holiday Inn Express in Lynbrook.

The hotel was evacuated, and no one was hurt.

Police found Booker a few hours later with pot in his car on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard.

Booker faces arson and drug charges.
