RONKONKOMA - Officials say a crumbling home in Suffolk County started to collapse last night.

The house is located on Second Court in Ronkonkoma.

Neighbors say a man in his 60s had been living in the home without heat, hot water or electricity for years and his pipes burst months ago.

Last night, investigators say the front wall of the home came crumbling down.

Fire officials say the entire second floor of the house collapsed. Neighbors say they have seen this coming for years and the owner would not cooperate. News 12 Long Island spoke to inspectors who say the house was filled with trash, rodents, termites and bugs.

The home is uninhabitable.
