UNIONDALE - The man behind the Barclays Center in Brooklyn will try to replicate his success with the Nassau Coliseum.

Developer Bruce Ratner, along with Charles Wang, will advise the county about the stadium and develop a plan for the surrounding 77 acres.

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano announced Ratner’s strategic role in a press conference.

The county says it wants to make the Coliseum competitive with other venues for concerts and sporting events.

There is no word yet on what this deal may mean for taxpayers.
