DEER PARK - Deer Park School District is asking parents to talk to their kids about stranger danger after three recent incidents.

The district says the most recent incident occurred on Friday afternoon, when a masked man in a car approached a Robert Frost Middle School student on West 8th Street and Park Avenue.

The man asked the sixth-grader to go to Dave & Busters with him and offered the student a $100 game card.

Earlier that week and only a few blocks away, police say an 11-year-old boy and girl were walking home when they were approached by a man in a dark red Honda. The man attempted to lure the children into his car, authorities say.

Officials say the third incident happened on Thursday, involving a John F. Kennedy Intermediate School student. The details of the incident were not immediately clear.
