WOODBURY - The New Hyde Park teen accused of causing a deadly accident pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday.

Police say 17-year-old Deepak Kumar was driving high last week when he hit a car at the corner of Covert and Second avenues.

A father was killed, and his wife and young daughter were injured in the accident.

Kumar's bail was set at $500,000.
