Officials say a dog was found dead inside a lobster crate that washed up on a North Shore beach.

According to officials, the crate washed up along Old Wrinkle Point Road in Eatons Neck. A dead pit bull was found inside.

The Suffolk SPCA says the crate was wired shut and weighed down with bricks.
