WOODBURY - ? Thousands of state workers may have to find new jobs.

According to the New York Times, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is considering cutting up to 15,000 state jobs.

There is no word yet if any Long Island state workers could be cut.

Officials say the cut is an effort to close the state?s more than $9 billion budget deficit.

Clerical workers, state troopers and park rangers could be on the chopping block.
