WOODBURY - In a news conference today, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-New Yorker) blasted the utility companies in the state for failures to respond properly to Hurricane Sandy and the nor'easter.
The governor cited utility companies running out of power poles as part of their inept response.
"You can't be any stronger or harsher than I have been on the utility companies than I have been," the governor said.
On Long Island, more than 250,000 customers remain in the dark following the hurricane and snowstorm.
