ALBANY - Gov. Andrew Cuomo today announced a bill that includes a provision which would allow a woman to get an abortion after 24 weeks if her health was at risk.
The abortion provision is part of Cuomo's 10-point agenda for women's rights, but it's the only one with significant opposition.
Cuomo says he simply wants to align New York state laws with those on the federal level. He says he won't accept an agreement that doesn't include the abortion rule.
