The father of one of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting is offering support to the family of the gunman who took his young daughter's life.
Robbie Parker lost his 6-year-old daughter, Emilie, in the Sandy Hill Elementary School shooting on Friday.
"First of all, I would really like to offer our deepest condolences to all the families who are directly affected by this shooting," said Parker, "It is a horrific tragedy and we want everybody to know that our hearts and our prayers go out to them. This includes the family of the shooter."

The Parker family had just moved to Newtown about eight months ago.
Quick to cheer up those in need of a smile, little Emilie never missed a chance to draw a picture or make a card, her father said as he fought back tears. The blonde-haired girl was always smiling and loved to try new things.
