WESTHAMPTON - Officials say homeless sex offenders can continue to live in the county trailers in Westhampton.
The appellate division of the State Supreme Court has tossed out Southampton Town's lawsuit trying to force the sex offenders off town land, according to Newsday.
The trailers have been in Westhampton for five years.
Southampton Town officials plan to appeal the ruling.
Homeless sex offenders are also housed at the county jail in Riverhead.
